Overview

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Experiences Team. This team builds and maintains the foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify's product experience across platforms. It's a critical role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of product and infrastructure, thinks strategically, and is passionate about designing clear, reliable APIs and simple systems that directly enhance the user experience.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Speechify's Product Teams to scope projects, find ways to reduce scope to get faster feedback from customers, navigate the integration/UX tradeoffs relevant to different product teams, and deliver solutions via our cross-platform SDK
• Optimize existing functionality to ship things like faster loading and more intelligent parsing by designing more efficient abstractions and improving our algorithms
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin

• Preferred Tech Stack:
  • Kotlin Multiplatform (Java experience is OK but role is Kotlin Multiplatform) 
  • Prior experience with GCP is a plus

Aufgaben

Fullstack-Entwickler (m/w/d) mit KI-Affinität in Vollzeit

Wir suchen zum nächstmöglichen Termin einen Fullstack-Entwickler (m/w/d) mit KI-Affinität in Vollzeit für unseren Unternehmenssitz in Rottenburg am Neckar.

Ihr Aufgabenbereich:

• Weiterentwicklung unserer Shopware-basierten E-Commerce-Plattform, sowohl im Frontend als auch im Backend
• Konzeption und Umsetzung von Schnittstellen zwischen Shop, ERP, Logistik und weiteren Systemen
• Implementierung neuer Funktionen und UI-Komponenten für eine intuitive, benutzerfreundliche Nutzererfahrung
• Optimierung zentraler Shop-Seiten (Startseite, Kategorien, Produktdetailseiten, Checkout) hinsichtlich Performance, Usability
• Mitarbeit an der technischen Roadmap und an der Weiterentwicklung unserer Shop- und Integrations-Architektur
• Einsatz und Integration von KI-gestützten Tools im Entwicklungs-Workflow (z.B. Claude, Cursor, Copilot)
• Prototyping und Evaluierung KI-gestützter Features für Shop und interne Anwendungen
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit E-Commerce-Management, Marketing, Design und der IT-Leitung bei der Konzeption und Umsetzung neuer Features
• Code-Reviews, Wissensweitergabe an Junioren und Auszubildende

Qualifikation

Ihr Profil:

• Abgeschlossenes Studium oder Ausbildung in Informatik, Webentwicklung, Mediengestaltung oder vergleichbar
• Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung als Fullstack-Entwickler, idealerweise im E-Commerce
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in PHP mit Symfony sowie in modernem JavaScript/TypeScript
• Erfahrung mit Shopware (6) oder vergleichbaren Shopsystemen (Shopify, Magento, Spryker) stark von Vorteil
• Sicherer Umgang mit modernen Frontend-Frameworks (Vue.js, React) und Template-Engines (Twig)
• Praktische Erfahrung in der API- und Schnittstellenentwicklung (REST, idealerweise auch Messaging/Queueing)
• Verständnis für sauberen Code, Tests, Git-Workflows und CI/CD
• Nachweisbare, produktive Nutzung von KI-Tools im Entwickleralltag
• Vorteilhaft: Kenntnisse in Figma und der Adobe-Produktfamilie
• Verständnis für UI/UX-Prinzipien und Erfahrung im Mobile-First-Design
• Strukturierte, ergebnisorientierte Arbeitsweise, Teamfähigkeit und Eigeninitiative
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
